  • Its the still small voice that we must learn to hear. That whisper. But who's whispering? You ever been listening to someone whisper to someone else so closely that you can't hear anything else? Well I at times are at fault for listening to the wrong whisper, but am glad to say "not this time".

Things don't 'happen for a reason'. But you can turn those things into something and learn from it. I learned a lot in 2 yrs. And it pains me to realize that others who can learn so often choose not to.
But that's not my concern. It hurts regardless, but god is in control when we put him in control....when we die to self....when we take up our cross....and follow him.

Give thanks for the blessings. And concentrait not on the sorrow but rejoice in the grace that god gives

  • Gone Baby Gone

What is right in a world filled with so much wrong?  How can we see black and white when we loose focus.

    Gone, Baby Gone.

Not just a movie, but a real mind-opener.  Dont just watch the movie, but instead use it as a tool to look inside yourself.

Rent it today, discuss it tonight!

  • We Never Dreamed She Was Right....

8am: wake up...grandmas been up about an hour...

9am: Watch the parade on tv, call grandma, she's trying to watch it too....hoping to see garfield and marmaduke...

    12pm: get dressed and ready....

1pm: head over to grandmas....her christmas lights are on, even though the sun makes it hard to see

3pm: the house is filled with smells and sounds and sights of christmas....while grandad catchs up on the scores of todays games

    5pm: "is mom coming over?"

5:30pm: Prayers...as we sit around a table telling grandma to come eat

    7pm: Clean up...dessert.

8pm: Well, there sure are alot of presents all around the livingroom...so many there's hardly a place to sit.

9pm: still opening gifts, and yes grandma, the coat fits fine!

10pm: Thank you's fall from the tongues of our mouths as we leave.....

    and grandma adds.....

"I may not be here next year"
